KVK developed good infrastructure facilities and resources for its fascinating activities like Instructional farm, Demonstrations unit of agriculture, Horticulture, Medicinal Garden, Nutritional Garden, Live Stock, Sericulture, Vermi-compost, Fisheries, Crop cafeteria of vegetables and Agronomical crops and Production of seeds and planting materials to meet out the need of farmers. Considering the special needs of the nutrients management, Krishi Vigyan Kendra also established a sophisticated soil testing laboratory to diagnose the deficiency of nutrients in different pockets of district. An outstanding achievement of KVK to establish Ultra Modern Plant Health Clinic at the KVK to diagnose exact causes of plant diseases and pests and provide their proper solutions is performing continuously. KVK has a well equipped training hall with LCD projector for effective and skilled training.
Krishi Vigyan Kendra is having 18.75 hectare farm with fencing and laid out in a systematic manner. It is having tube-well with electric motor, pipe lines for irrigation, tractor drawn implements for the tillage and intercultural operations. KVK also established a mother orchard of Aonla and Mango to propagate and prepare saplings for the benefit of farmers.
Krishi Vigyan Kendra constructed all the buildings sanctioned by ICAR which includes, administrative building, seminar hall, farmers’ hostel, staff quarters, demonstration units and threshing floor.
The e-linkage with V-SAT and BSNL Broadband connectivity and generator for the power support also have been developed at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra. The instructional unit in agriculture and allied fields are mainly established for giving first hand information and to provide practical experience for skill development to the famers based on the principle of ‘teaching by doing’ and ‘learning by doing’.
