Prime Minister Fasal Bima Yojana Awareness Programme at Ghazipur

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ghazipur in collaboration with ICAR-ATARI, Kanpur organized an awareness programme “KISAN SAMMELAN AND KRISHI PRADARSHANI” on “Pradhanmantri Fasal Bima Yojna” here today. Shri Manoj Sinha, Union Minister of State, Ministry of Railways, highlighted ambitious schemes launched by Government of India for the welfare of farmers. He insisted to the farmers of Ghazipur district take benefit of this Bima Yojna. PMFBY has very low premium for insuring crops and post harvest losses will also be covered in this scheme, he added.

On this occasion, three progressive farmers were felicitated by the Chief Guest for their achievements in farming. Minister also visited Krishi Pradarshani stalls of line departments, crop insurance companies, banks, pesticides companies. More than fifty officials from line departments were present on this occasion.
